In this factory located in Jinan 450 km from Beijing, 800 people work and it has 24,000 m2 built on a 40,000 m2 plot, including its own test laboratories, making it the biggest transformer factory in the Asian giant.

On a second day they visited one of the largest substations in China: Quancheng, which has GIS technology, owned by State Grid, also located in Jinan City, Shandong Province.

This substation has three banks of autotransformers with a total power of 3,000 MVA in each of them, making this substation a single substation with 12 monophasic units with a total capacity of up to 12,000 MVA.
