Our directors Eduardo Muñoz and Bernardo González, were received this week in SPECO, the Chinese subsidiary of State Grid, to strengthen the commercial relationship and learn about the company's facilities. In the city of Jinan, 450km from Beijing, began the visit to the factory of power transformers with manufacturing capacity of up to 1,000 MVA per equipment, in alternating and continuous current. 800 people work in this SPECO factory and it has 24,000 m2 built on a 40,000 m2 plot, including its own test laboratories, which makes it the largest transformer factory in the Asian giant. The second day they visited one of the largest substations in China: the Quancheng substation, which has GIS technology, owned by State Grid, also located in Jinan City, Shandong Province. This substation has three banks of autotransformers with a total power of 3,000 MVA in each of them, making this substation a single substation with 12 monophasic units with a total capacity of up to 12,000 MVA.
